| | | | How do I calculate the monthly fees? | | The monthly tuition fees are usually calculated on 4-weeks basis. There are months which have 5 weeks, so do budget accordingly. As an example, if the tuition teacher charges a fee of RM35 per hour; and you choose to have the classes twice a week, for 1.5 hours per class, and taking the month to have 4 weeks, the monthly tuition fees is calculated as follows: Rate per Hour | Duration | Frequency | Rate per Week | Monthly Rate | | RM 35 | 1.5 hours per class | 2 classes per week | RM 35 x 2 x 1.5 = RM 105 | RM 105 x 4 = RM 420 |
It does not matter how many tuition subjects are taught in a class, the tuition fees will remain the same, i.e. RM 420. | | | | Why do the price vary? | The price will vary from tutor to tutor depending on:- - The travel distance from their place to your house; this will include toll charges, to and fro
- The tutor's experience
- The tutor's qualification(s)
It should be said again that the rates mentioned above serves only as a guideline. TuitionSentral does not determining the rates. At the end of the day, the rate is finalised between tutor and parent. | | | | Oh no! The fees are out of my budget! | | Yes, it is true that education does not come cheap these days. But have heart! All is not lost! We suggest that you find other student(s) to join the tuition class and therefore, share the tuition fees. They can be your child's classmates or neighbourhood friends. | | |
